Our Crossville Flea Market booth (C21) will be open every Saturday that I’m not elsewhere, weather permitting. The dates that I will am elsewhere I will, hopefully, have a neighbor or my husband filling in for me at the Crossville flea market. SOAP MAKING ON THE FARM

Make old fashioned Lye Soap, a hot process soap cooked in a big black kettle, as well as Goat Milk Soap, a cold process soap. Workshop starts at 9am Central time and ends when the soaps are done, usually around 2pm. Participants will take home samples of their work as well as recipes. All are welcome to join us for lunch or bring their own.

The $10 deposit required to reserve your space will be applied to the $50 per person workshop fee.  Please check for space availability before mailing your deposit to: Belinda Lindroos, PO Box 54, Clarkrange, TN  39553.

CHEESE MAKING

Our cheese making workshops are geared toward beginners. We will make a variety of cheeses, Farmer’s Cheese, Cottage Cheese, Mozzarella,Ricotta and Colby, an aged cheese.

Should time and weather permit we can take a quick tour of the farm while we wait for the cheeses to set up. All are welcome to join us for lunch or bring their own.

SPINNING

Enjoy a day at the farm learning to spin with Sue Duncan, noted spinning demonstrator and fiber artist! Workshop begins at 9am Central and ends at 3pm. Participants will leave with a variety of spinning fibers and a drop spindle. All you need to bring is a desire to learn.

All are welcome to join us for a simple lunch or bring your own. If weather permits, we’ll take a walk about the farm and maybe milk a goat!

Space is limited. A $10 deposit is necessary to reserve your space, this will be applied to the workshop fee of $55 per person.
